School of Science and Mathematics Education

UWC has the largest undergraduate Faculty of Science in South Africa and the largest number of Science graduates from disadvantaged communities. The activities of the Outreach Project within the School of Science and Mathematics Education have played a major role in contributing to this achievement by breaking through the science barrier faced by students as a legacy of apartheid.
