Making the Moon

The GCSE students have been learning about the Moon.   They had a go at reproducing a 3d model of a part of the Moon from paper mache using photographs of the surface.   They pained the highlights and shadows but you could leave them unpainted and photograph them lit from an angle to reproduce the effect in the reference photo used.
