'Solar Science' aims to provide materials for learning science in schools.

The Sun allows us to do practical space activities during the school day. Even when it's cloudy, you can investigate the specrum using a spectroscope made from an old CD or, via the internet, watch the Sun from a satellite.

The initial development of these resources was made possible through a project sponsored by the Royal Society - the UK's national academy of science.
